Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 2026

Offermore ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of our users. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we store it, and the rights you have in relation to your data. By using Offermore, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Who we are

Offermore is a business health and insolvency risk dashboard for small and medium enterprises. We connect to your accounting data with your authorisation and present analytics derived from that data back to you through our web application at offermore.app.

2. Information we collect

Account information. When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials. If you subscribe to a paid plan, our payment processor collects and handles your billing details — we do not store full payment card numbers on our systems.

Xero financial data. When you connect your Xero account via OAuth 2.0, we receive an access token and a refresh token that allow us to retrieve data from your Xero organisation on your behalf. The data we read includes financial reports (profit and loss, balance sheet, trial balance), aged receivables and aged payables reports, bank account balances and transactions, tax liability reports, and organisation details such as your business name and base currency. We only read data — we do not write to, modify, or delete anything in your Xero account.

Usage and technical data. We collect basic technical information when you use the service, including IP address, browser type, device information, and pages visited. This is used to operate the service, diagnose issues, and improve the product.

Cookies. We use cookies that are strictly necessary for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

3. How we use your data

We use the information we collect to:

  • Generate the dashboard metrics, ratios, indicators, and historical snapshots displayed to you;
  • Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Offermore service;
  • Communicate with you about your account, billing, service updates, and support enquiries;
  • Comply with our legal obligations.

We do not sell your data, rent it, share it with advertisers, or use it to train machine learning or AI models. Your financial data is used solely to provide the service to you.

4. How we store and protect your data

Your data is stored in encrypted databases hosted in the geographic region closest to your account. Xero access and refresh tokens are encrypted at rest. Data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted in transit using TLS.

We apply tenant isolation so that your data cannot be accessed by other Offermore customers. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. How long we keep your data

Snapshots and dashboard history are retained for the duration of your subscription. If you request full deletion, contact us and we will remove your data from our active systems.

6. Service providers

We rely on a small number of third-party service providers to operate Offermore, including a database and authentication provider, a hosting and content delivery provider, a payment processor, and an email delivery provider. These providers process data on our behalf and we do not authorise them to use your data for their own purposes.

Some of these providers may store or process data outside Australia.

7. Your rights

You may:

  • Disconnect your Xero account at any time from within the dashboard, which revokes and deletes the stored tokens;
  • Request access to the personal information we hold about you;
  • Request correction of inaccurate information;
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us;
  • Complain to us, and if unsatisfied, to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

8. Children

Offermore is intended for use by businesses and is not directed at individuals under 18.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top indicates when it was last revised.

10. Contact

For privacy enquiries, data access or deletion requests, or to raise a complaint, contact the Offermore team.
